A while back, the furrygoat sent me a link to PanosFX. Panos has a number of freely downloadable actions for Photoshop ( I use CS2) that are out of this world. This tutorial covers how to use the PanosFX B&Big action combined with my own twist to produce the following image:

iCoverArt + iPod +iTunes = embedded album art!

Saturday, February 4th, 2006

I’ve had my 60GB Video iPod for a month now and I love it! I have however, been very annoyed by the fact that iTunes and thus the iPod only display album art for songs/albums purchased through the iTunes music store. I don’t believe in DRM, so I haven’t bought anything on the store and don’t plan to. Instead, I’ve ripped my 300 or so CDs which all fit on the iPod with 5GBs to spare, but I digress.

Check out the iCoverArt product. It will only set you back a minimum $5, but it is worth far more. Over the course of about an hour, it retrieved all of my cover art and embedded it into each song. I synched up my iPod with iTunes and voila, I now have album art for all my music. Very cool…..
