Must read book on photography
I’ve read quite a few books on photography and in terms of praticality and offering tips that you can use immediately, Bryan Peterson’s book “Understanding Exposure” is fantastic.
I was already familiar with fact that correct exposure is the result of matching shutter speed, aperture and ISO, but Bryan helps you to see that it is much more than that because technically every shot has many 5+ correct exposures (due to various combinations of M,A, ISO). The question is whether it is the right “creative” exposure.
You can easily make it through this book on a long flight or weekend. Highly recommended!
